The Guardian of the Gate (later dubbed Pablo the Blue Knight) is an overprotective penguin played by Pablo, who guards a gate leading to The Castle of King Austin. He used to be unable to open the gate.
Looks

The Guardian of the Gate is mostly of a blue color. He wears a white and blue-striped squire's dress. On the front of the stripe is a fleur de lis pattern.

Pablo has only played as the Guardian of the Gate in one episode of The Backyardigans: Knights Are Brave And Strong, from season one.
