Mommy Martian is the caring mother of Boinga. She lives on Mars in an alien city along with her child. The martian has only appeared in one episode of The Backyardigans: Mission To Mars. Her appearance was special because Alicia Keys, a famous singer, guest-starred as the character in the episode, and Mission To Mars was the series' season two premiere, causing it to become more popular than normal episodes.

Mommy Martian is a green Martian living on Mars in a futuristic alien community. She is the mother of Boinga and is portrayed by singer Alicia Keys. She is a talented singer and is a good friend of Commander Uniqua, Science Officer Pablo, and Lieutenant Austin. Apparently, the character has not met Tyrone or Tasha, two main characters in The Backyardigans. She is one of the few adult characters to appear in the television series.

LooksEdit

Mommy Martian is mostly a lime-green color. She has two white eyes with black pupils and two eyelashes on each, attached to her head with two long eyestalks. Mommy Martian wears a purple suit with white stripes down the sides. Her mouth is a dark red color and her tongue is hot pink. She has two hands with four fingers on each one. Her sleeves are rolled up. The character does not wear shoes.
