Unlike Operation Elephant Drop, the characters displayed on the menu aren't merely image stills, but actual moving models completed with rendered movement. This is the first The Backyardigans DVD compilation. The animated material played before each song category features the voices of the fourth season's cast. No songs featured are from the fourth season. The version of "Sinbad the Sailor" on this DVD has added lines that were removed from the song in "Sinbad Sails Alone".  Some character roles from the first season were redesigned for this DVD. Nickelodeon also produced a Dora the Explorer DVD with the same title and concept. The extended end credit sequence on this DVD features the end song without vocals, rather than the traditional credit music. Goof Cowboy Tyrone isn't counted in the song Le Master of Disguise, while he still is "Riding the Range".
