Boy is a minor character in The Backyardigans. He has only made one appearance, in the episode Caveman's Best Friend, but acted as the main subject of the episode. The dinosaur is owned by Austin and resides in the prehistoric town of Rockville.

Boy is mostly of a gray-white color. He has a few brown spots across his body. His feet are brown with three toes on each.
