Boy is the pet dinosaur of Caveman Austin. He resembles a young apatosaurus. Boy is hyperactive at all times. He enjoys running in the Rockville park and playing fetch.

Boy is a major character in The Backyardigans. He has only made one appearance, in the episode Caveman's Best Friend, but acted as the main subject of the episode. The dinosaur is owned by Austin and resides in the prehistoric town of Rockville.

Boy is mostly of a gray-white color. He has a few brown spots across his body. His feet are brown with three toes on each.
