Avion Baker is an actress who provides the singing voice of Uniqua during season four episodes. She replaced Jamia Simone Nash, the singing voice for Uniqua in the past three seasons. Baker is also known for her job as Young Tara in seasons one and two of True Blood. Singing for Uniqua is Avion's newest occupation as a voice actor. Baker's first singing performance was in Robot Rampage, and her last was in The Tale of the Not-So-Nice Dragon. Baker only sings as Uniqua in 19 episodes of The Backyardigans.

Avion Baker has appeared in many television shows as both a singer and actress. Her first career was on True Blood as Young Tara. She started this job in 2007. She got another job as Kayla on Special Agent Oso in 2008 as well, still while she was playing on True Blood. She quit her job on SAO to get another occupation on the ER soundtrack Believe the Unseen. In 2009, she couldn't appear on True Blood because it was not currently playing, and moved on to The Backyardigans, causing her to become a true actress on Nickelodeon, appearing in the 2010 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.
