Austin the Clown is a circus clown who is played by Austin. He does not speak throughtout most of the episode, making sound effects by honking his horn until he speaks up stating that he was hungry.

Austin the Clown is mostly of a purple color. He has a red nose and white face paint around his eyes. He has yellow hair, a blue hat with a flower on it, orange fingerless gloves, white undershirt, yellow and orange polka-dot tie, a blue shirt, blue pants, and yellow and orange shoes.

Austin has only played as Austin the Clown in one episode of The Backyardigans, Best Clowns In Town, from season two.
